What interests me about sculpture is its ability to convey feelings of intimacy through physical objects. I am interested in how my background in illustrative painting can be translated through these objects.

“To Hold” Pt. 2

Towards the end of the semester, I became interested in how I could facilitate the shift from paint which allowed me to create this soft sculpture. Sticking with the theme of distorted human bodies which I explored throughout my class: Forum II, I imagined how I could create a figure that was unrestricted by its substrate yet retains an identifiable form.
